What ATAS actually is
ATAS is an order flow analysis platform.
Footprint charts are what you might recognize, but they’re one tool among several: the Smart DOM, the tape, volume and market profile, delta and cumulative delta, Big Trades for spotting size, a liquidity heatmap, and MBO on the ultra tier.
Candles tell you what price did.
Order flow tells you who hit the ask, who hit the bid, whether size lifted the offer or sat there and ate it.
A green candle can be a passive buyer eating sellers at the lows. Same bar, completely different story. One of those two stories is where the stop goes.
Platform Features
**ATAS X works on Mac
Chart Trading
You can drag your stop and target on the chart. Grab, drag to the level, drop. Any working order, same thing.
Also there: one-click market / limit / stop from the chart. OCO (fill one, cancel the other). Trailing stops with the bracket. Orders, average entry, live P&L drawn on the bars, not stuck in a side panel. Flatten in one click.
Cross-trading: analyze on the E-mini, execute in micros. This lets you read ES and trade MES. (PRO and ULTRA.)
Footprint charts.
A footprint opens the bar. Every price level inside it, volume at each one, split into buys hitting the ask and sells hitting the bid.
Copy Trading
ATAS includes a built-in module — Following Manager — for multi-account replication with per-account sizing across linked accounts.
If you’re running several funded accounts through a cloud copier, that’s a monthly cost this may absorb.
I haven’t used it, so I can’t tell you how it holds up under load. **
Smart DOM
Resting limits stacked at each price. Read it with the tape and you can watch a level build, then see whether the prints there are lifting the offer or hitting the bid.
You can trade from the DOM in ATAS, not just stare at it.
Liquidity heatmap
DOM is the book right now. Heatmap is the book over time.
Volume profile and Market Profile (TPO)
ATAS X
A full rebuild of the platform, in beta on every tier, running on Windows and macOS.
Classic ATAS is Windows-only, so this is the first real route in for Mac traders. Faster, with a tab-based interface.
** Quick note about plans: In order to get real time futures data you must be subscribed to the PRO tier. **
14 Day Free Trial
The best thing you can do is take it for a test drive and see if it fits your needs, having multiple things in one, chart trading, copy trading, heatmaps can reduce some of your subscriptions.
The only way to find out if a software is a fit for you is by trying it yourself.

What’s next
I’m building a set of ATAS indicators. In progress rather than finished — I’m one person (w adhd), so they’ll get done eventually.

Trading futures, and leveraged products generally, involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. You can lose more than your initial deposit. Past performance does not indicate future results.
Prop firm evaluations are paid challenges conducted on simulated accounts. Fees are generally non-refundable, and most participants do not pass. Treat an evaluation fee as money you are prepared to lose.
Do your own research and consider seeking advice from a licensed professional before trading or purchasing any product mentioned.

Trading software on its own doesn’t create an edge, and trading futures involves substantial risk of loss.
Commissions help me keep putting out free templates and indicators. This is not financial advice.

The footprint and delta split is what I'd want to see on ES. Which of the ATAS tools do you lean on most for spotting size, the Big Trades or the heatmap?
